[North Easterly] and after passing through [the] Estates of Caldra, Nisbet, Kimmerghame Kelloe & Blackadder, it enters the Whiteadder at Allanton.
The trout in this stream are [very] large and of excellant quality, said [to be] little inferior Loch Leven trout.
Persons are not permitted to fish in this River without leave of the landed proprietors along its [banks].
