008.05 | The remains of a small stone circle situate on a hill on the estate of Cairnfield. One stone is all that now remains altho it was perfect only a few years since. Mr Bremner the farmer at West Park, who knew it when perfect, describes it as then being a circle of large upright stones enclosing a large Cairn of small stones, the whole has been removed from time to time with the above exception and nothing is known to have been found in it of Antiquarian interest. |
