003.10 | Three masses of conglomerate rock, standing conspicuously on the shore, one on Cullen Links, and the other two on the sands within High Water Mark. It is traditionally recorded in the district, that near these rocks, three Kings met, viz. A Scotch, a Danish and a Norwegian King, in order to settle a feud by personal combat. That the Danish and Scottish Kings fought, the other being arbiter of the contest and that the Scottish King came off victorious, having killed his antagonist. |
