It is said to be near 1600 feet above the level of the Sea, & is Cultivated a good way up on all Sides - There are two Small Cairns on its Summit. One erected by the Royal Engineers when employed on the Trig-cal [Trigometrical] Survey. And the other, to Mark the boundary between the Parishes of Fordyce, Ordiquhill, and Grange. |
