016.06 A small mound or hillocK hollowed out in the centre. it is now partly filled up and defaced, by a ditch being cut through it. The local tradition respecting it, is that it was made and used as a place of shelter by a person of the name of 'Tam' during the time of religious persecution in Scotland. It is also a well Known point on the boundary of MarnocK & Forglen.
