This parish is in the Presbytery of Strathbogie and Synod of Moray, It is bounded on the north by the parish of Cairnie, on the south by Cabrach parish, on the east by the parishes of Huntly Gartly and Cairnie and on the west by the parishes of Botriphnie and Mortlach. The parish of Glass is partly in the County of Banff and partly in the County of Aberdeen; The portion in the County of Banff Contains 4732, Statute Acres. There are no detached portions of this parish, neither are there detached portions of any other parish within its limits. The Aberdeenshire section of the parish contains the Church and School. There is no town or village in the parish.
