003.13 | The New Statistical Account On describing Law Hillock States that- "There is also on the other side of the burn of Deskford and within view of the former" (namely Law Hillock) another "and about half a mile from it"; rising to the height of 20 feet with "regularly" Sloping Sides And flat upon the top, - which is of an elliptical shape, about 30 feet by 18 feet. It is Surrounded at the base by a ditch, one part of which forms the bed of a Small Stream which runs past it, and is called the Ha' burn as the hillock is called Ha' hillock and is Said Also to have been a hall of law or justice.
