016 The remains of an Ancient Castle. Portion of the walls on the N. E [North East] and South are Still Standing. the Site of the defaced part cannot be pointed out by the Proprietor and the only information now to be obtained about it is that it was partly destroyed in a Feud previous to 1488 that it was rebuilt and went gradually into decay. There are no traces of Fortification or defensive works about it. The above information was obtained from the present proprietor.
