The whole building has long Since disappeared except a portion of what appears to have been a Square tower, the walls of which are about ten feet high and in very ruinous State. It would appear to have never been a place of great Strength or importance, though from the appearance of the place at the present, it would be impossible to form a Correct opinion of its original Size. Nothing is Known of the date of its erection. - |
