038 A Middling Sized oval Shaped hill partly arable and partly heathy pasture. Towards the northeast there is Scarsely any perceptible declivity but a Continuation of elevated ground in that direction to Brown Carrick Hill. To the S.E. [South East] & South it is Steep and in Some places rocky and precipitous, to the west it falls off in a gentle Slope. Probable height from it base 300 and from the Sea level 700 feet. Property of the Hon.[Honourable] J.F. Kennedy Dalquharrran. The name is evidently Gaelic and likely means Little Mountain.
