001 | A small Conical hill in Brisbane Glen; which at first Sight has the appearance of being an Artificial Knoll, but on inspection it will be found to be Composed of solid rock It has a rather Singular appearance and according to the Old Statistical Account of the Parish; it was thought to have been artificial; but this opinion is not at all entertained at the present day, by any of the inhabitants in the neighbourhood; neither is there any traditional information or any old tales connected with it, although being a very remarkable feature in the Glen. |
