Sir James Ferguson of Kilkerran is proprietor, but a lease of it is held by Messrs McClymont & Dunlop of Kirkmichael.

050 A Substantial Stone bridge of one arch
Spanning the river Girvan and erected in the year 1825. The main road between
Ayr & Girvan passes alongside. Being on a County road it is a County Bridge.
