013 This stream is a continiuation of the "Souan Burn" but changes to the present name at its entrance into Kingswell farm on the North side through a bridge on the old line of road Between Glasgow & Kilmarnock.
At this place it also forms the boundary (or march), between the properties of the Earl of Glasgow and that of the Marquis of Hastings - and flows through the farms of Kingswell & Hairlaw until it joins the Fenwick Water.
