A Small mountain Stream flowing along and dividing the Shires of Ayr and Wigton from its Source for about 40 Chains in an easterly direction then leaves the County [Boundary] and takes a northerly direction and flows by the east bank of Airyewn, and west of Darnarroch Fell it [receives] Several Small [nameless] [Streams] in its course till it joins the Pulgown Burn at which place it becomes rather a rapid Stream
