CHAPEL CROFT 067 In the eastern part of this parish about half a mile from Loch Duisk, there was a chapel which was dedicated to St.Ninian, and which was called, in Gaelic, Kil-an-Ringan, Signifying the chapel of St Ninian; and a piece of land adjacent was called Chapel Croft. At the place where the Chapel stood there is now a gentlemans Seat, which is called Kilsaint Ninian, or Kil-an-Ringan, the last whereof was the ancient name of Celtic times
