A Rocky, heathy, eminence which affords good Mountain pasture. On & around its top is a cluster of loose irregular Shaped Rocks called the Cloven Rock. The people [of] the Neighbourhood Say that formerly there was but one rock & that during a thunder Storm it was struck by [lightning] & broken into fragments as it Now appears.
