[Situation] Flows for a short distance through the North of plan & enters the W. [Water] of Minnoch.- A rapid stream formed by the confluence of two streams near the base of Craig Laigh Hill. It has a rocky bed, passes under the new and old roads near their junction at the Rowantree Toll and empties itself into the Water of Minnoch.

[Water] of Minnoch. - A rapid stream which divides the Rig of the Shalloch from Cairn Dhu and the Shalloch on Minnoch [Hill]. It is joined by Knocklach Burn at Shalloch on Minnoch farmsteading near which it falls into the Water of Minnoch
