GLEN APP Glen App ' See Page 23' 069 ; 073 The hills on each side of this glen rise to a Considerable height, especially those on the North , the principal of which are Smyrton, Carlock, and Mickroch. Though Situated in a Mountainous district, the bottom of this valley yields good Crops of Oats, barley, and its sides afford good Mountain pasture. The Water of App which rises at its eastern extremity, flows through it into Finnart Bay.
