a rock, the last Syllable a agreing with
the gaelic word Airged pronounced Arguid silver , genitive an argud . ie. [that is]
Craigan argud, literally Signifying ch Rock of Silver, why it has
received the name is not known perhaps Some recent place near it Might at one time have been
