A Stone erected to point out the Spot where a man perished in a Snow Storm, and where he was also interred. That part of the stone which appears above the Surface is about two feet Square and about three inches in thickness , having a smooth Surface. [Trigonometrical] Station and near which is a standing Stone about four feet high but by whom, and for what purpose, or at what period this stone was erected cannot now be ascertained. The hill is covered with heathy pasture and is the property of R. Temple Esq.
