070 | [Situation] Flows through the east side of the Plan about 30 Chains east of Ardnamoil. - A large & rapid Stream which is formed by or takes its rise from Small Streams which Collect from Surface water. Its general direction is Southwesterly & after a Course of about eight Miles joins the Main water forming the Water of Luce. it is famous for Salmon & trout both of which fish are taken here in great numbers during the Months of July, August & September.- |
