228 A stationary light with a very neat house and garden attached, for the use of the keeper. it is situated on that part of the Little Cumbrae known as "Cumbrae Elbow", on a piece of flat ground at the base of a lofty precipice and on the edge of another perpendicular Cliff, of considerable height, overlooking the Sea. It was erected by a company -- Mr Robert Pollock McKell is the Keeper. under the Comissioners of the Clyde Lighthouses -
