011 This loch lies on a low flat surface about 18 chains N [North] east of Knock Jargon and well known in the locality. It is almost dried up during summer weather. having a marshy appearance, but in the rainy seasons the water accumulates to the extent shown on trace. It is not improbable that there are springs in various parts of it.
