258 A small but prominent eminence the top of which has evidently been fortified by art. The distinct traces of a rampart composed of stones covered with grass is still to be seen. There is no tradition that can be gleaned regarding it, further than a Castle had stood here at some former period. The people in general hare calls all these fortified hills Castles.
