It is about 12 miles in length by 6 in breadth. The parish boundary forms its eastern division, Loch Shiel its Northern, Loch Sunart its Southern, and its Western division is co-extensive with the properties of Sir Thomas M. Riddell Brt. [Baronet] Strontian and James Dalgleish, of Ardnamurchan, & Rutland Square. The whole of which situated on the estate of Thomas M. Riddell Bart. [Baronet] Strontian.
