The islands of Gigha and Cara were disjoined from it about the year 1729. There [was] an assistant minister at Colonsay. There are no detached parts of this parish locally situ[ated] in any other and there are no detached parts of any ot[her] locally situated within the bounds of this parish. It contains about 97167 stated acres.
