[North East] It belongs to the parish of Jura and is the property of Colonel Gascoigne of Craignish Castle, English meaning mound of the Saint.

128 A group of known islands, besides a number of rocks, comprising an area of 550 acres, or thereby, situated in the Atlantic Ocean, about 4 miles W. [West] from the islands of Lunga & Searba. There is almost no arable land on these islands, but they produce excellent pasturage for sheep & catle. They are all in the parish of Jura and are the property of Colonel Gascoigne of Craignish Castle.
