138 A ford across the stream on the old road from Ford to Craignish & distant about a mile from the former. Tradition asserts that a conflict took place here between the Martins of Craignish and the Campbells of Fuicharn, in which the Martins were beaten. Sig. [Signification] McMartins Ford.
