139 | On a point of Land jutting into Loch Awe about 1/4 of a mile north west of Fincharn farm house stand the remains of Fincharn Castle. It would appear to have been a place of some strength, being built on a rock, the only entrance being on the west side. The walls are pretty thick and stand at present about 30 feet high all round. |
