090 A corrie of no great extent, situate on the west side of "Glen Orchy" & winding of from the Confluence of "Allt Coire Ghoridh" & "Allt Broighleachan" towards the north end of "Beinn Donachan". About the mouth of it is a remnant of the once great "Forests" that existed in the district at an early period.

"Some scanty remains of these once mighty Forests are still to be seen in different localities in the Parish. viz Corehorrie"

This name is Considerably questioned as to its origin. The popular belief being that it was named after some man of note viz_ "Godfrey". It is pronounced "Coire Horrie"
