044; 058 A fine River, named from its junction with "Allt Eilidh" and "Caol Creran", takes a South Westerly Course receiving in its progress a number of tributaries the principal of which is the River Ure. Near Fasnacloich owing to the lowness of the ground it forms a Loch of considerable extent about 2 miles south of this point it enters the sea at the head of Loch Creran

058 A glen through which the River of the same name runs its extent may be said to be about 9 miles, on the South extending a little past the head of Loch Creran and on the North to Corbhainn. It is chiefly occupied by grazing Farmers south of Ellerie farm there portions of fair arable ground but liable to be flooded during heavy rains
