108 An enclosed belt of fir wood now, but originally a burial place supposed to be in connection with the Druidical remains in the immediate vicinity, & therefore fenced in and preserved as an Antiquity. Situated in a pasture field on the property of M.G. Maclaine Esq. Lochbuy, from whose Mansion it is about 1/4 of a mile N.N.W. [North North West] and near to the banks of Abhuinn an Tomarain.

108 A Circular piece of Wood, but originally a burial ground, supposed to have been used by the Druids of which there are several remains in the immediate vicinity, all of them carefully preserved as antiquities. It is situated in an adjoining field east of the above Burial Ground and about 1/8 mile N.W. [North West] of a Druidical stone circle, and on the property of M.G. Maclaine Esq. Lochbuy from whose mansion it is about 1/4 mile distant.
