198 This object is situated nearly 3 Chains north of the point at which Finlaggan River enters Loch Finlaggan, and is said to be the place of interment of emasculated women who are said to have formed part of the household of the Lords of the Isles, who had their principal residence on an island in Loch Finlaggan after their expulsion from the Isle of Man in A.D. 1304. It is the property of Charles Morrison Esq of Islay.
