Cairn Baan [continued from page 3] informed by the authorities quoted that, Dr. Hunter residing in Lochgilphead excavated a portion of it, and found a quantity of human bones. There is another mound immediately to the west of this one having the appearance of
being one of the same kind; it was partially excavated also, but nothing was found to prove
that it was such. Signification Fair Cairn.
