262 This name is applied to a small ruin the walls being about 3 feet in height, and of the ordinary dwelling house thickness, & deriving its name from a person called "Cairine" having worshipped here. Attached to the above is a small enclosure formerly used as a place of burial, the walls are in a very dilapidated state, no interments having taken place within the present Century. Signification "Cathrine's Chapel".
"In Glenadle there is a Chapel & Holy well " The latter cannot be identified.
