057 A Small rocky Island situated in the Sound seperating Lismore from Appin, opposite Portnacroish, and 11 chains from the main land, it is 4 chains long by 2, and has a sloping appearance, being about 30 feet above the water.
There is an old ruin on its highest point, called Castle Stalker, as follows.

057 An ancient looking Castle situated on a small rocky Island called Island Stalker, the walls which are perfect rise to an altitude of about 30 feet from the Surface, there are Stone Steps on the N.E [North East] side leading into the ruin, and inside at the North Angle, there is a Staircase leading up to the top.
