086 A small dwelling with offices &c. situated about 3 miles from the south end of the Island.
From 1792 to 1822 it was used as a Roman Catholic College, & two Bishops who filled the office of Principal, John, and Angus Chisholm lie buried in the small enclosure at the back of the offices; On the Tombstone of Bishop John is the following inscription

The dates in the inscription are calculated in the Roman way, by subtraction from Kalends, Nones and Ides, with some reservations:
John Chisholm was born on 12 Feb 1752, or pridie Idus Februariis MDCCLII, not as given here.
And he was consecrated bishop on 12 Feb 1792 - I have taken Nonis to mean 9th, but if it means Nones that would be 5 Feb.
