099 A large freshwater loch situated about three miles south east of Oban, It extends from Glen Lonan on the North, to Glen Feochan on the South, a distance of two miles & a half, and its average breadth is about half a mile. Sig. [Signification] Lake of the Swans. The name is generally written & it is better known as Loch Nell.
