251 Also the ruins of an Old Chapel with a grave yard attached. The latter is still used as a place of interment. Mr. Macintosh says the Chapel has not been used for Worship since the Reformation. its walls although roofles are pretty intire.
"This Burial place is 2 miles west of Kilmichael, and is still used as such. In it a great many well carved stones are erected in remembrance of the dead. A great part of the Church walls are standing, but much decayed. It was the Parish Church of Kilkenzie".

"On the west coast, & adjoining to Campbelton
are the remains of the ruined Church of Kilchenzie still to be
seen in the midst of the ancient burying-ground.
Kilchenzie is, in Gaelic, Kilchaoinich "The Church of St Kennek",
who lies buried in a small island upon the coast of Mull
called after him "Kennek's Isle". Glencraggan p. [page] 226.
