241 A small Dun or circular fort on the south side of Clachaig Water and on the lands of Mausdale. There is no tradition concerning this farther than it is said to be the site of a Castle. A short distance south of it is a small oval shaped mound hollow in the middle. John Mitchell believes this to have been a natural gravel mound & that gravel had been taken from it for the road which has caused its present appearance.
