171 A fort situated on the summit of the above hill, is of an oval shape about 80 feet in length & 60 in breadth, the wall or rampart is composed of small loose stones, measuring from the interior about 5 feet in height at the northern extremity, & at the southern about 2 ft [feet], & in breadth (on the top) about 6 feet, the base sloping considerably down the hillside, Immediately south of it is situated a track of the foundation of what appears to have been a square building, but nothing known as to its origin;

These are composed of a row of loose stones, generally placed in a circular form on some hill or eminence.
