223 This name applies to an old Burial ground also a few small Cottages in bad repair. The property of Charles McDonald Morton Esqr. In the west corner of the burial ground are 2 small Gravestones (and the only 2) one of which bearing date 1756. There is no tradition existing in the locality of a Chapel having been here. The Origines Parochiales has the following -
"Other Chapels dependent on the mother church of St Colmonel appear to have been situated at Kilmichael and Kilchamaig, both on the western coast, the former near the southern and the latter near the northern end of the Parish."
