121 A small eminence on the farm of Kilbride, about ¼ of a mile from farm steading. This eminence appears to have been fortified in a strong manner altho [although] nothing now remains of the walls. Mr Clark mentions that when trenching the ground on various occasions he has removed great numbers of Calcived stones. A great number of them have been used in building dykes on the farm and are still to be seen. He is of the opinion it was a vitrified fort.
