235 A very extensive bay, extending from Eilean na Cul to Rudha na Faochag. It has good anchorage ground, is on the east side of Gigha South of Druim-yeon Bay & opposite the established Church. It takes its name after the village of that name.
"About the middle of Gigha on the east side is the Bay of Ardminish New Stat [Statistical] Account".
