073 | The ruins of a small Castle said to have been built by Sir Duncan Campbell of Glenorchay about the end of the Fifteenth Century Thw walls are quite entire & are of great thickness. Barcaldine Castle was built in the latter part of the fifteenth by Sir Duncan Campbell Knight of Glenorchay ( Donnachadh Dubh), and who is Known by the name of Duncan of the seven Castles (Donnachadh nan seacph Caisteil).
