011 A name given to two flat pieces of pasture land, Situated on the South Side of the Village of Turriff and East and West of the road leading to that place, on which the inhabitants of Turriff had for a considerable time the right of pasture, it was originally called " Partyoke-Vale". They are now called the "Haughs of Turriff," and is owned by the Earl of Fife, and is well known by that name.
