Tradition says their was a flag put up on this hill to warn the Laird of Skellater when any soldiers appeared in the glen he being at the time a fugitive hiding in the hill "A hill called, Deidh Soider, or soldier's tomb, where a smart conflict took place between the clans Allan and Coutts, in the begining of the 16th Century". |
