033 This is a copious spring of excellent water, rising at the foot of the northern slope of Clochdhu Hill; is strongly impregnated with iron, and has long been celebrated for its medicinal qualities, and is frequently resorted to for relief in different sorts of disorders. I believe this well to be also impregnated with sulphur from the highly fetid smell emitted therefrom, and from the property is possesses of [tinging] Silver.
