042 | A large & rapid flowing burn, formed by the burns of Essie & Templand, it forms the boundary between the Parishes of Auchindoir & Rhynie, winding its course in an easterly direction, on the northern base of Ord Hill, soon after it crosses the Public Road, about a quarter of a mile north west of the Village of Rhynie, it then flows in an easterly direction, crossing the Turnpike Road at the Mill of Noth, and into the Bogie, about a quarter of a mile east of the mill of Noth. |
