042 This was once a stronghold possessed by an Ancient branch of the Gordon family. There is now at the present day only a small portion of this Antiquity, Standing to the height of about eight or nine feet, round which is a wall and track of Moat or Ditch. The interior of the wall, being now made into a Garden, and a small portion of arable.
